1. How do I maintain my NSK Hair?
To keep your hair extensions luxurious:
- Wash and condition them every 2 to 3 weeks.
- Gently squeeze out excess water and let the hair air dry.
- Avoid products with harsh chemicals like alcohol or sulfates.
- Lightly moisturize daily using water-based products.
2. How should I prepare my hair before sleeping?
- Always braid or tie your hair before bed to prevent tangles.
- Use a satin bonnet or pillowcase to minimize friction and avoid breakage.
3. Why is it important to use satin at night?
Satin reduces friction, helping to prevent frizz and breakage. It keeps your hair smooth and preserves its quality.
4. Can I leave my hair loose at night?
It’s not recommended. Loose hair is more likely to tangle, which can lead to breakage and damage.
5. What if I don’t have a satin bonnet?
A satin pillowcase is an excellent alternative to protect your hair while you sleep.
6. Can I bleach or dye the hair?
Yes, our raw hair is 100% unprocessed human hair and can be bleached or dyed.
Important: Always deep condition and moisturize the hair after chemical treatments to avoid dryness.
7. How many bundles do I need for a full look?
- 2 Bundles are recommended for 8"-14”
- 3 Bundles are recommended for 16”-24"
- 4 Bundles are recommended for 26"-32"
- 5 Bundles are highly recommended for 34"-40"
8. How long does the hair last?
With proper care, our 100% raw hair can last a lifetime. Treat it like your own hair for the best results.
9. What is the difference between Indian, Vietnamese and Indonesian hair?
Indian hair is thicker, naturally wavy and perfect for a fuller look. Vietnamese hair is finer and very sleek. Indonesian hair is in between, with medium thickness, softness and a naturally smooth finish.
10. What are extra long bundles?
Extra long bundles refer to our Vietnamese hair from 32 to 40 inches. They are ideal for anyone looking for very long length and maximum volume.
11. What is the advantage of ordering through pre order?
Pre orders come with automatic discounted prices. They also allow you to choose exactly what you want, including the length, the texture, the quantity and the lace type, with no stock limitations. It is the most flexible and cost effective way to secure your hair.
Shipping
12. Who do you ship with?
- Domestic: We ship with Chit Chats, Canada Post, UPS, or FedEx, all with signature confirmation.
- International: We ship with Canada Post, UPS, or FedEx, also with signature confirmation.
13. What are the shipping timelines?
- Domestic (Standard): 2 to 5 business days.
- International: Approximately 7 to 10 business days.
14. How do I track my order?
Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email with tracking information. Use the tracking link to check your order’s status.
15. Who is responsible for lost or stolen packages?
NSK Hair is not liable for packages lost or stolen after being handed over to the carrier. We recommend using signature confirmation for added security.
16. Why are there two separate collections (Regular & Extra-Length)?
We work with two different suppliers: one provides lengths from 8” to 30”, and the other offers extra-long lengths from 32” to 40”. To ensure consistency in quality, texture, and color, we recommend not mixing products from both collections in one order. This is why each collection is listed in separate sections, to prevent combining different sources that may lead to variation.
Pre-Orders
17. When will I receive my pre-order?
Pre-orders require a production time of 7 to 20 business days before shipping or pick-up.
18. Can I cancel or modify a pre-order?
No, pre-orders are final and cannot be canceled or modified.
19. Can I return a pre-order?
No, pre-orders cannot be returned or refunded, except in cases of defects or errors on our part.
20. Are there specific windows for pre-orders?
Yes. A new pre-order window opens every two weeks (Monday to Saturday of the second week). Orders are processed only after the window closes. No pre-orders are sent to suppliers before the window ends.
21. If the item I pre-ordered becomes in stock later, will my order ship faster?
No. Pre-orders follow their own processing timeline (7 to 20 business days), even if the same product later appears in stock. Pre-orders may include exclusive pricing or special batch processing and cannot be expedited or changed once submitted.
Pick-Ups
22. When will my pick-up order be ready?
Pre-Orders: Ready 1 to 3 business days after the production period of 7 to 20 business days.
In-Stock Items: Ready within 1 to 3 business days after purchase.
23. What happens if I don’t pick up my order on time?
If your order is not collected within 7 business days, we will reorder the item for you. You will need to wait for the production or preparation timeline again.
24. Can I pay for my order at the time of pick-up?
No, all pick-up orders must be paid in full at the time of purchase.
25. Is same-day pick-up available?
Same-day pick-up is available for in-stock items if the option is shown during checkout. If not, please contact us to check availability.
Returns and Exchanges
26. Do you allow returns?
All sales are final. No returns or refunds are accepted.
27. Can I exchange an item?
Exchanges are permitted only if there is an error on our part or if the product is defective. Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and exchanged within 7 days of receipt.
All original gifts and packaging must also be included.
